Lunch at Rothley Court with my sister who's come over for the Olympic Athletes' reunion dinner.

Had a very enjoyable working lunch with Michelle and Lucy at Wheelers.

Just got in from seeing Jo Caulfield. She was really on form and had the audience by the proverbials.

Spent all day with clients discussing Christmas bookings but found time to buy a pair a shoes and have a coffee at Vince's in the afternoon.

Regular dental check-up today. Clean bill of health.

Close-up and cabaret in Edinborough for Alistaire and Maureens' Silver Wedding. Re-lived happy times at the Waverley with Dad.

Spent all day in the office; correspondence and finance. Self appointed President of the "Crush All Citroens Society" - CACS.

Night air - feel it, touch it, taste it! Truly invigorating. "Off the Wall" at the Theatre with E. Pink Floyd tribute. Soporific.

2.45pm. Got shunted at the Antique Dealers! Not a good day! No damage to my new BMW luckily.

Picnic in the Park on Saturday afternoon, good audience but very, very poor sound system. Champagne reception for Christchurch Players at the Theatre. Stayed over at a friends.

Just got back from London - straight run in with no traffic. Thank goodness for cruise control! Cup of tea while I put my clothes in the wash.

The people are very helpful and Cooplands make excellent curd cheese cakes.
(Bought a freezer load full!)

Discussion with client (a.m.) about an "Italian Night" next month. Browsed Loughborough market and found a stall selling beetles in amber.(Jurasic Period !?) Will think about it as he wants £70 each.
Going out for a curry with C and then on to The Old Bull's Head for a drink.
